  1. Funny ’cause I just tweeted this https://twitter.com/faynei65/status/442534851166490624 then I read your post. Thanks for keeping me motivated that I have to follow what I love vs. doing something that others wanted me to do. Aaaand pinning this to add on to my book list. I’ve been reading good reviews about the “Steal Like An Artist” from other bloggers too. Looks like a really nice book for people who love art and artist-wanna-be.

    1. Great minds think….a̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ a lot! Haha.
That book by Austin Kleon is really an eye-opener. I was always afraid to make my style evolve even when I’m tempted to especially with the new trends in design. However, this book makes it clear that it’s okay to do that because in the end, no human is able to make a perfect copy & that we can’t really separate ourselves from the influence of the outside world. *Okay, I’ll stop here. I sound like I’m writing a graded reflection paper about this book.* Haha. It’s always nice to see you here Fayne! 😉

      1. It’s always nice when you experiment different styles in art, there are no right or wrong ways in doing them anyway.
I can relate to most of your posts. That’s one of the reasons why I’m always here, even though I don’t comment sometimes. XD And I like how this blog keeps on moving forward, like the new moving background and your cute short video clips (which I always wanted to do but….procrastination. Lol). It always inspired me to do more art. Keep up the good work. ^-^/

        1. Aww..Thanks! Ponggo has been bugging me that we needed something new and he wanted us to go back to our old comic strips with 5 frames & elaborate props but I ended up doing video clips anyway. They’re so addicting! You should try to do it too! Thanks again Fayne! 🙂
