Signs That You Need a Vacation

Googly Gooeys Signs That You Need a Vacation 1) You haven't been very productive lately. 2) You feel sick but you're not really sick. "Well, apparently, you don't have a fever." "Really?" 3) You put san on your table & spill water on it once in a while. "Sigh. I must really miss the beach" 4) "Ugh! I'm irritated by the fact that I'm easily irritated" You have this unexplainable anger & you're easily irked. 5) You start quesitoning your purpose in life. "What do I want to be when I grow up?" "Aren't you too old to still be asking that?"

I’ve been feeling sick for a while now.  For a time, I blamed it on the ever changing weather.  I had to absent myself from work thrice already in the past two weeks and had to pass up on family gatherings and events.  After consuming x colorful tablets which were supposedly made for colds, flu and some rust-tasting ones (i.e. iron supplements), I still wasn’t feeling good.  Ponggo (and the rest of my family) started to worry if I had some disease. So I had myself checked.

According to my blood test (and I’m hating the fact that I have a bruise on my right arm), I’m not sick.  The people at the ER told me that I didn’t have a fever!  But I was (and still am) feeling weak.  I can’t survive a day without taking in a couple of medicines.  This must already be psychosomatic!   I must be in dire need of a vacation (or exercise/sleep/career change). Hehe. Hence this post: Signs That You Need a Vacation!

I guess, in the end, (I hate the fact that I always use “I guess” and “in the end” when I conclude blog posts :P) I just need to learn how to rest.  I get frantic when I have nothing to do.  I get equally panicky when I still have pending work.  I don’t know when I will ever understand that work will always be there and that whatever I do to deplete it, it will always manage to multiply by itself! So, how have you been lately? 🙂

XOXO,

Tipsy ❤

P.S. I’m thinking of coming up with free downloadable iphone wallpapers. Any suggestions? 🙂
