I went to two birthday parties last weekend. All I could say is, they’re both Pinterest-worthy. I was so inspired that during the holiday, I ended up arranging and rearranging some stuff in our bedroom. Well, I was forced to do that partly because it was so messy after shooting this entry and the isocahedron stop-motion video. Hehehehe. 
Actually, I’m really torn as to whether I’m supposed to change the title of this post to “Put That Thing Back Where It Came From” or “A Pinteresting Weekend”. Don’t you just wish things could just put themselves back to wherevery they belonged in just a snap?
Above: Speaking of Pinterest, that’s my Pinterest board in real life. There was actually a time when I used to print out stuff and pin them on an inspiration board. Don’t be fooled though, that board usually gets covered by the books and the washi tapes are not usually there. Well, now they are. I haven’t done a washi project in such a loooong time! I’m putting it where I can see it all the time.

I’m still shaking my head for not being able to get a photo of the whole place! There were hot air balloon lanterns allover! Mommy Sherll said she did a lot of the decorations by herself. She even painted the easels for each table!

Above: From now on, I’ll be eating my popcorn from a doily! I just need a bunch of high school friends and a chick flick. Any suggestions? Hehehehe. This also makes me want to put doily on everythinggggg!
After the first birthday party, we went to my grandma’s 86th birthday celebration in Sofitel. We were near the dessert table and I’m just giddy as a kid playing with these glass drawers that contained all their desserts. It was pretty overwhelming that I ended up ogling at the desserts and eating some crispy chocolate flakes instead.
Wonder what those tubes are? All the while we thought it was syrup but apparently it’s rum which you get to squeeze into some sponge cake!
Cupcakes & cakes galore!
My friends & relatives know I’m always the first one to slice the cake at the dessert table. Hehehehe. You can’t really blame me! First off, I need to awaken my senses. Desserts are my appetizer! Then again, I must admit it also messes up my appetite and it makes me feel full in the middle of a meal thus making me hungry again just a couple of hours after diner. *Woops!*
