Letters & Colors Workshop & Basic Watercolor Workshop

I don’t know how many times I’ll start my blog posts with “What? It’s (insert month) already? I really thought that by March, I would be blogging regularly with comics. Another month is about to end and so far, I’m only able to do micro-blogging on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. 🙂

Again, thank you for your continued interest in our workshops, our Watercolor Doodles workshop for April is full so we’ve opened 2 new slots on April 17, an outdoor Watercolor Doodles Crash Course from 2-4pm in Intramuros and a full length Watercolor Doodles Workshop on May 28 at Fully Booked in Greenbelt 5 Artspace. You may sign up for either dates here.The Watercolor Doodles Crash Course / Basic Watercolor Workshop is designed for those who only have 2 hours to spare but would like to acquaint themselves with Watercolor and how to color in pre-made drawings. The workshop kit for April 17 will include the following:

1 Faber-Castell Watercolor Set
1 Watercolor Brush
1 Pencil
Sheets of Watercolor Paper

Meanwhile, I’m really excited to announce that we’re introducing a new workshop format in collaboration with none other than Abbey Sy 😀 We’re talking about it that when we started working together last year, we never really thought that one day, we’ll actually end up having a collab workshop. To boot, we have a different palette and different styles. Then we thought, that’s what we can actually bring into the workshop with letters & handmade lay-outs being her strength and colors as my favourite! 🙂

Letters & Colors will be an intensive workshop on April 23 & May 14 from 11am-7pm at Fully Booked in BGC. 🙂 There will be lots of demos and exercises throughout the day that will give everyone ample time to go through each of the processes. The workshop will cover the following topics:

1. Drawing Letters
2. Creating Your Own Alphabet
3. Lay-outs (A guided activity)
4. Basic Watercolor Washes
5. Watercolor Lettering Application
6. Guided Project Making
